Areas of law
Data protection law
The protection of personal data is of fundamental importance for companies and private individuals. I advise on all issues relating to data protection law and support the implementation of legally compliant processes. I also offer training courses on all aspects of data protection law.
IT law
I advise companies on all aspects of IT law. This includes reviewing and drafting IT contracts. Another focus is e-commerce law. This includes the review and drafting of general terms and conditions, privacy policies and other required information on websites.
AI law
AI law is a dynamic area of law that deals with the legal aspects of artificial intelligence. Important areas include the AI Act, data protection law and copyright law. I support companies in meeting the legal challenges and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by AI.
Copyright law
The creator of a work is the owner of the intellectual property and can regulate its use by third parties. In the event of unauthorized use, copyright holders defend themselves with cease and desist letters. I advise both copyright holders in enforcing their claims and those who are are faced with unjustified claims.
Media law
I support clients in protecting their personal rights, including the right of their own image. This includes the deletion of unlawful statements in rating portals, social media and search engines. On the other hand, I provide support in the defense against unfounded requests for deletion.
Litigation
I have a wide range of experience before the German civil courts. This also helps me to realistically assess legal risks in light of the case law of the courts when providing out-of-court advice.
Training courses on AI literacy
Basic training
In these training courses, all employees first receive an overview of basic questions such as: What is artificial intelligence? How do AI systems work? Building on this, the central content of the AI Act is covered and data protection and copyright aspects are explained in a practical way.
Specialised training courses
These training courses are designed specifically for departments that are particularly affected, such as HR departments focussing on high-risk AI or legal departments that require an in-depth legal overview of current and upcoming regulations.
Training for decision-makers
These training courses provide decision-makers with an overview of the obligations arising from the AI Act. The aim is to make strategic decisions in a legally compliant manner and to recognise and avoid liability risks at an early stage.
Specialised topics
In specialised formats, I provide in-depth coverage of topics such as ‘AI and data protection’, ‘AI and copyright’ or questions of legal liability when using AI. The training courses provide an in-depth examination of selected legal issues in the context of AI.
